Hi Everyone

Well, yes we have been very bad at keeping up our blog, and so sorry about that!Things have been really crazy on this side, we have had 3 great fundraising events and trying to organise with the 2 kids, was quite challenging. But they are finished and a great success.Thanks to everyone involved and for all the support.

We have started Gabby on a tube weaning program and we are on day 15 today.It has been very intense and very testing!
The dr's and the dietician slowly started weaning her off her tube feeds and she hasn't had any food in her tube since Thursday last week.She has been very weak, but has not yet dehydrated and everyone is really impressed that she is trying so hard to eat.She has not known why she is hungry, and has been angry at me for taking her tube feeds away, but is slowly starting to understand the process.

She is drinking loads of water and eating custard!!!!She tries other foods, but finds it difficult as she doesn't know how to chew and the muscles are very weak in her mouth.She has only lost 400g in all this time and since last Friday till last night, she hasn't lost!Yeah!!!!!

Am updateing her facebook page: Help Gabriella Scarlett Eat Aagain, and mine, and promise to be better at this!
